Team Tumblr FC triumphs again (by way of opponent’s forfeit). Team LASO looked pretty tough, and as Scarbroughfair later explained from first-hand intel: they really are.

So, when pressed with “Oh, their team’s finally all here, just a few minutes late and not completely dressed; do you want to play or take the win?” team capitan Cobwebs did the dirty deed and earned us our first playoff win.

Conspicuously absent: Carrythatwait.

Next match: Wednesday at 8:00p.

A forfeit and a win

Tumblr FC was a player short for game one this evening and was forced to forfeit to a team it could by all rights (and will) beat —and have beaten in scrimmage.

Game two, however, was another story. The short of it: we won. The long of it: we won handily.

But seriously, down 4-2, then 8-4, we rallied to 10-8 and finally 10-10 before taking ourselves to a recorded score of 10-13 thanks to some solid play on the parts of Mitch, Scarbrough, Corey, Pat, and Davey.

Conspicuously absent: Chris “I’m 25 now” F_____ and Tara “you’re playing those girls way too soft” R___.
